Manchester December 2009

This blog is for all fans of Joy Division. From December 21 to 24, 2009 my wife and I walked through the main sites associated with Joy Division in the late 70th and early 80th. I hope it's useful for those making the same journey or for those who are curious about the band. The following photos and video.

On July 20 1976, the Sex Pistols played at the Lesser Free Trade Hall in Manchester. According to legend, this gig inspired Joy Division to buy guitars and form a band.
